About
I have completed a BA in philosophy and contemporary studies at Dalhousie University and an MA in classics, also at Dalhousie.
Currently, I am entering the fourth of a doctoral program in philosophy at the University of Kentucky.
The thesis I am working on is in analytic metaphysics, addressing various questions in the metaphysics of modality, substrate theory, identity, theory of reference, and the metaphysics of dispositions.
At present, the plan is to present the thesis as an axiomatic system, where the logical axioms are those of the simplest quantified modal logic (SQML), to be supplemented with several primary truths and metaphysical axioms (as well as mathematical axioms).
The system will comprise a basic ontology and a primitive set of necessarily existing dispositional entities.
